Class 12 have worked hard the past few weeks designing and creating their very own Egyptian headdresses or ‘nemes’ modelled on that of Tutankhamen.

French work this half term
Class 12 had fun this afternoon turning their alien design sketches into a reality using modelling clay. They worked really hard on size and proportion. Keep a look out for the finished product soon!
Today we made paper plate and cereal box shadow clocks. Over the next few days we will use these models to investigate how the sun appears to move across the sky at different points in the day.
Lots of co-operative learning happening in year 5. We used world maps, iPads and time zones in science this week to explain how it can be breakfast in one country but dinner time in another.
In a few weeks we'll be ready for 'Britain's Got Talent'
A very exciting day for year 5! We had the Astronomy Roadshow visit us at school and got to experience the solar system from inside the Uk’s largest planetarium.
Year 5 have some budding animators in the making! Today we used the iStopMotion app to create a short movie. Stay tuned later in the half term for our space themed animations!
