The games from the pool as follows:

This took us into the semi final vs. Thameside with the final score being 6-6, which meant we had to score the first golden basket. Serena scored the winning basket off the backboard which took us into the final.
The atmosphere was awesome and the competition intense.
The final was upon us, SLH vs. East Tilbury AGAIN, East Tilbury was out for revenge after the earlier win.
SLH hustled hard and scored 2 cracking baskets, however East Tilbury pushed back with 2 which finished the game 4-4. We then played 2 minutes overtime which ended 4 a piece. So again the golden basket was in order.
A quick timeout and SLH was ready to go, a good 7 minutes had past and both teams had shots. SLH dominated possession.
Bailey from just inside the attacking half was open and fired a shot, which swished the net giving SLH the win and making them CHAMPIONS for 2015!

This game went to the wire with extra time and golden try being played. Stanford worked hard and pushed forward to score taking them to the final vs. St Joesph's.
The final was intense with both teams scoring tries however Stanford had the lead and kept it winning 4-2.
Player of the tournament went to Daniel W voted by the referee on the day. Congratulations.
It was a fun and enjoyable experience for all the players.
Well done to everyone that took part. You should be so proud you played superbly.
Gifted and Talented:
A few of our year 6 pupils had the opportunity to experience the new school sessions and more being offered at Jump Giants the new trampoline park in Thurrock. The children got shown around, got to tumble, jump, shoot some hoops on the basketball, have a game of dodgeball taking on the Jump Giants Crew, they also got to practise flips and jumps into the foam pit. Fantastic day, hopefully something we can do again in the future while building a community link with the company.
