School Games Begin!
This year we will be working in partnership with Hassenbrook School’s PE department to run a number of School Games events for the children in Key Stage 2 across this year as we build towards London 2012.
These events will be competitive with all children taking part and scoring points for their team and these points will be added to sports day scores to crown the school’s School Games Champions next July.
The teams are all named after athletes who will hopefully be appearing at London 2012 and are:
- Class 6 and class 9 will be Team Reade (named after Shanaze Reade) and their team colour is red.
- Class 7 and class 10 will be Team Woods (named after Shelly Woods) and their team colour is white.
- Class 8 and class 11 will be Team Daley (named after Tom Daley) and their team colour is blue.
