Night Owls
The ‘Night Owls’ group came to visit the Key Stage 1 children on Wednesday 23rd November 2011 to share their expertise on these birds of prey.
Gizmo, Tango, Noodles, and Whisper were some of the owls on display, but the star of the show was Oscar who was at times quite a naughty boy! The children were lucky enough to see the owls fly around the Wharf hall and some children even got the chance to hold the owls.
The morning allowed the children to improve their understanding of owls and the importance of caring for wildlife.
It was certainly a hoot!
